Rio De Janeiro, May 2 -- Former Brazil international forward Hulk parted ways with Atletico Mineiro, paving the way for an expected move to Fluminense.

The 39-year-old shed tears as he bid farewell to Atletico fans in a video posted on social media.

"My relationship with Galo runs very deep and I will never lose my connection with these incredible fans," he said.

Hulk scored 140 goals and provided 56 assists in 309 games for Atletico following his 2021 move from Shanghai Port. He helped the club win the 2021 Brazilian Serie A and Copa do Brasil titles as well as the 2022 Brazilian Super Cup, according to Xinhua.

"I leave with much more than titles. I leave with a connection that changed my life," he said.
