Jaipur, Oct. 21 -- In a surprise move, former BJP MLA Rampal Meghwal today filed his nomination papers from the Anta Assembly seat in Rajasthan's Baran district, creating an embarrassing situation for the ruling party ahead of the November 11 by-election.

The BJP has officially fielded Morpal Suman as its candidate for the Anta seat.

The opposition Congress has reposed faith in its veteran leader and three-time MLA Pramod Jain Bhaya, setting the stage for a tough contest.
