Mumbai, Feb. 28 -- A former chief of the Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad has alleged that he faced political pressure during the UPA regime to act against prominent Hindutva leaders despite what he describes as insufficient evidence.
In his biography 'Troubleshooter', written by Jitendra Dixit, retired IPS officer K.P. Raghuvanshi states that he "had to pay the price" for declining to arrest senior figures of Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray and RSS functionary Indresh Kumar.
