Tirupati, May 10 -- TTD Additional Executive Officer CH Venkaiah Chowdary on Sunday said that protection of cows is a sacred service in Indian culture and called upon everyone to actively participate in cow protection initiatives.
He was speaking after around 1,600 tonnes of dry fodder was donated to the SV Goshala through 180 lorries under the leadership of TTD Board Member Jyothula Nehru, Nehru Foundation and Srinivasa Seva Trust Chairman T Satyanarayana.
Appreciating the donors, Venkaiah Chowdary said the fodder had been collected from Jaggampeta in Kakinada district and transported to Tirupati by bearing all transportation and related expenses.
