Jammu, April 25 -- Assuring citizens of an uncompromising crackdown on drug networks, Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Saturday declared that every Panchayat must be drug-free and every police station must be completely cleansed of drug traffickers.

Addressing a large gathering in Samba district as part of the 100-day Drug-Free J&K campaign, the Lieutenant Governor said, "This battle will not be won by law enforcement alone. It must be won in society-through awareness, unity, and collective determination.
