Even as Crude prices witness volatility, Trump says stopping Iran from having nuclear weapons is more important for him

New Delhi, March 12 -- Even as Crude prices experience extreme volatility globally, US President Donald Trump on Thursday played down the growing energy crisis, saying his ''far greater interest'' is stopping Iran from having nuclear weapons.

Trump said the US is the largest Oil producer in the world, and when prices go up, they (the US) make a lot of money.

But stopping Iran from having nuclear weapons is of greater importance to him, and he won't let Iran possess nuclear weapons, he said on his social media platform.
