New Delhi, June 5 -- India's mobility sector continued to demonstrate resilience in May 2026, with electric vehicle (EV) adoption accelerating sharply and travel demand boosting fuel consumption and toll collections, according to the latest Shriram Mobility Bulletin.

The report highlights a significant transformation in the country's transportation ecosystem, led by robust growth in EV sales across categories. Electric cars emerged as the standout performer, registering an impressive 157 per cent year-on-year growth in retail sales during May.
