Brussels, Aug. 2 -- European union justice and interior ministers will hold an emergency meeting on Tuesday to deliberate on the worsening migration crisis that occurred in the Spanish enclave of Ceuta, as the death toll from the mass influx of migrants rose to 72.
The meeting will be convened under Ireland's rotating presidency of the Council of the European Union, and the meeting has been called following growing concern among member states over the unprecedented surge in irregular crossings and calls for a coordinated European response.
