Mumbai, Oct. 2 -- The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of Mumbai Police is questioning actor Dino Morea in connection with alleged financial irregularities and misuse of funds in the Mithi River desilting project. Morea had earlier also been questioned by the Mumbai Police in the case.
The EOW had directed Dino Morea and his brother Santino Morea to appear before investigators along with relevant documents.
The inquiry is reportedly focused, among other things, on financial transactions between Dino Morea and accused Ketan Kadam during 2019 and 2022.
Morea is also regarded as being close to Shiv Sena (UBT) leader and MLA Aaditya Thackeray.
