Srinagar, Sept. 1 -- Nearly a decade after the registration of a case, the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) Kashmir of the Crime Branch J&K has filed a chargesheet against a man and a deceased former Patwari in an alleged land grabbing and forgery case, officials said on Tuesday.
The chargesheet in FIR No. 08/2016, registered under Sections 420/511, 167, 471 and 120-B RPC, was filed before the Court of Sub-Judge, Srinagar, against Mushtaq Ahmad Malik of Barapather, Haft Chinar, Srinagar, and the then Patwari, who has since died.
