Mumbai, Nov. 4 -- A Mumbai-based environmentalist has urged Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to implement robust rainwater conservation measures to address Maharashtra's ongoing water crisis, including use of satellite images and drone technology to track water flow patterns and efficiently direct resources to scarcity hit zones.

He stressed that the state continues to experience severe water shortages despite receiving heavy rainfall and even flooding in several regions.
