Shillong, June 4 -- Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) Chairman V. Narayanan on Thursday said the country's space ecosystem is playing a key role to realise India's objective to become a developed nation by 2047.

"The entire space ecosystem, including start-ups, is working together to make India a developed nation by 2047," Narayanan told reporters on the sidelines of the North East Space Application Centre (NESAC) meeting here in Meghalaya.

The meeting was chaired by union Minister for Development of North Eastern Region Jyotiraditya M. Scindia in the presence of space scientists.
