Patna, Oct. 16 -- Bihar Agriculture Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha said on Thursday that ensuring respect, equal opportunities and appropriate participation for women farmers in agricultural development is a priority for the state government.
Addressing women farmers from various districts of Bihar at an event organised to mark Women Farmers' Day 2026 and the International Year of the Woman Farmer 2026, Sinha highlighted the vital contribution of women to agriculture.
