Southampton, July 11 -- A blistering 131 from Jos Buttler and an unbeaten 95 by captain Harry Brook powered England to a daunting 257 for three before the hosts completed a commanding 56-run victory over India in the fifth and final T20 International at The Rose Bowl here on Saturday, clinching the five-match series 4-0.

India endured a torrid evening as Buttler and Brook stitched together a match-defining 233-run partnership for the second wicket.

Buttler hammered 131 off 64 balls with 12 fours and eight sixes, while Brook remained unbeaten on 95 from 45 deliveries, striking four fours and eight sixes. England finished on 257 for three, their highest total of the series.
