New Delhi, Feb. 26 -- Delhi's Education Minister Ashish Sood has said that the government is working with "scale and speed" to convert the capital city from a degree-distribution centre to a knowledge centre of the country. He asserted that the phase of instability is over and the government is focusing on balanced and holistic development of schools, colleges, technical universities and research institutions.

The minister dedicated newly constructed Student Facility Centre and laid the foundation stone for an Indian Knowledge Tradition Centre and sports facilities lounge at Maharaja Agrasen College in East Delhi's Vasundhara, one of the fully-funded colleges of Delhi government.
