Agartala, Sept. 5 -- Repair and restoration works on Manu River embankment in the Latiapur Gram Panchayat area of Unakoti district have halted due to objections from Bangladesh Border Guards (BBG).
State Social Welfare and Social Education Minister Tinku Roy visited the impacted site to evaluate the situation and review the progress of the embankment work.
He was joined by Tripura State Waqf Board Chairman Mobswar Ali, along with other public representatives and officials from relevant departments.
