New Delhi, May 4 -- BJP looks set for a decisive win in West Bengal as it has begged 156 seats and is leading in 52, said the latest update by the election commission of India released in 2051 hours.
West Bengal assembly has a total of 294 seats and 148 is the magic number needed to get a simple majority.
WB had gone to polls in two phases on April 23 and 29, re- polling was ordered in Falta constituency and some booths elsewhere.
The incumbent All India Trinamool Congress(AITC), is trailing in second position, it has till now won 55 seats and is leading in 24 seats.
The Indian National Congress(INC) has thus far won 2 seats while it is leading in none.
