Bhubaneswar, July 4 -- The election process for the BJP Odisha State President and National Council members, which was earlier postponed due to unavoidable circumstances, will now be held from July 6 to July 8, BJP State Joint Election Officer Dr. Jatin Mohanty announced today.

The election, originally scheduled for July 1, was deferred in the wake of a tragic and unfortunate stampede near the Gundicha Temple in Puri, which claimed the lives of three devotees.

Dr. Mohanty informed that the election processes for the BJP's local committees, mandal committees, and district committees have already been completed. The election process for the State President and National Council members is now set to begin.
