Hyderabad, June 21 -- AICC Telangana in-charge Meenakshi Natarajan on Sunday alleged that the Election Commission of India (ECI) acted in a partisan manner by rejecting her Rajya Sabha nomination from Madhya Pradesh, and accused constitutional institutions of being compromised.
Addressing a press conference at Gandhi Bhavan alongside TPCC President and MLC Mahesh Kumar Goud, Natarajan said the Congress had sufficient MLAs to win the third Rajya Sabha seat in Madhya Pradesh, but her nomination was rejected on the basis of a legal notice that, she claimed, did not constitute a criminal case or require disclosure in Form-26.
