Bhubaneswar, Aug. 17 -- Elaborate security and traffic arrangements have been put in place across districts under the Central Range of Odisha to ensure the safe, smooth and peaceful movement of Kaudias and devotees during the Shrabana Mela (Bol Bom), being observed on August 3, 10, 17 and 24.
During the holy month of Shrabana, thousands of Kaudias undertake journeys carrying holy water from rivers, including the Prachi and Bhargavi, to various Shiva temples across the state. In view of the large congregation of devotees, police personnel have been deployed at important Shiva temples, along major routes, river crossings and other vulnerable locations to facilitate the safe movement of devotees and regulate traffic.
