Varanasi, July 28 -- Kashi has been decked up for the grand celebrations marking the 650th birth anniversary of Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas.
As part of the preparations, the BJP has undertaken extensive decorations across the city, including the installation of welcome gates, hoardings, electric festoons, and decorative lighting at major intersections.
The roads leading to Seer Govardhanpur, the birthplace of Sant Ravidas, have been specially decorated for the occasion. The BJP will organise a series of programmes from July 29 to February 20 to commemorate the birth anniversary.
