New Delhi, Feb. 11 -- union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said that the role of technology in education has vastly changed from a medium to access content to a medium to improve learning outcomes today. The minister said this while chairing a roundtable at IIT Delhi with founders of 10 Indian Edtech startups to discuss the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the country's education system, with a focus on learning outcomes, accessibility and safeguards.
The meeting brought together policymakers, academic leaders and entrepreneurs working on AI-based tools for K-12 learning, test preparation, upskilling and language learning.
