Kannur, Sept. 12 -- Former Kerala Chief Minister and Opposition Leader Pinarayi Vijayan on Saturday rejected the Enforcement Directorate's (ED) latest allegations in the CMRL-Exalogic case as politically motivated, saying the agency had not sent him any communication and that reports claiming his daughter Veena had given a statement were "sheer lies".

Vijayan also questioned the ED's alleged move to seek registration of a case against him under the Prevention of Corruption Act, saying the agency had leaked details of its reported communication to the State Police Chief to the media despite not informing him directly.
