Dhanbad, Nov. 21 -- The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Friday carried out extensive raids at several locations linked to coal traders in Dhanbad, acting on allegations related to large-scale financial irregularities in the coal trade.
The operation began around 6 a.m., with multiple teams simultaneously reaching the residences and offices of more than half a dozen businessmen.
According to sources, the premises of coal traders Anil Goyal, Deepak Poddar, L.B. Singh, Sanjay Khemka, Hemant Gupta, and the residence and office of Binod Mahato in Chirkunda were among the key locations searched.
