New Delhi, March 31 -- In a major blow to the smuggling and trafficking of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances in the state of Tripura, the Enforcement Directorate (ED), Agartala Sub-Zonal Office, has filed three prosecution complaints against fourteen accused persons.
All three complaints arise from scheduled offences under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS Act), committed in the state of Tripura, and pertain to the laundering of proceeds of crime generated from systematic drug trafficking activities.
