New Delhi, Feb. 2 -- The Enforcement Directorate (ED), Jaipur Zonal Office, stated on Monday that it has filed a chargesheet against Md. Sadeeque, Alfurkan Educational Trust (AET), and other accused in a PMLA case. The ED added that during his period of judicial custody, Md. Sadeeque filed a bail application, which was dismissed by the Special PMLA Court, Jaipur.
The ED initiated its PMLA investigation based on two FIRs registered by Rajasthan Police and credible intelligence inputs. These alleged Md. Sadeeque's involvement in radicalisation activities, hawala dealings, forced religious conversions, illegal arms trafficking, and suspicious high-value financial transactions.
