New Delhi, June 23 -- The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is conducting raids at multiple places in connection with the alleged manipulation and irregularities in the Tamil Nadu Teacher Recruitment Examination.
The agency is conducting searches at around 18 premises across Chennai, Tiruchirappalli (Trichy), Coimbatore, and Madurai.
The ED initiated PMLA investo based on an FIR registered by the Central Crime Branch (CCB) in 2017. Police had filed a chargesheet in the case in 2021.
According to information, the case pertains to alleged irregularities, illegal benefits, and manipulation in the teacher recruitment process.
