New Delhi, Jan. 22 -- The Enforcement Directorate (ED), Ahmedabad Zonal Office, on Thursday said it has attached 14 immovable properties worth Rs. 1.13 crore in Godhra District, Gujarat, in connection with a PMLA case against Arif Ali Amjad Ali Khan and others.

The ED initiated the PMLA investigation based on a First Offence Report registered by the Range Forest Officer, Mandvi South Range, Surat Forest Division, concerning the illegal smuggling of Khair Wood in contravention of various provisions of the Wildlife Protection Act.

The main allegations in the criminal case are that individuals named Mustaq Adam Tasiya, Moh. Tahir Ahmed Hussain and others were involved in illegally cutting Khair trees from Wildlife Sanctuaries in various dist...
