Neeraj BaliChandigarh, July 30 -- The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has provisionally attached overseas bank balances worth USD 10.034 million, equivalent to approximately Rs 94.76 crore, in connection with an alleged money laundering case linked to Amira Pure Foods Pvt. Ltd., the agency said in a statement.

The provisional attachment order was issued on July 25 by the ED's Gurugram Zonal Office under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), 2002. The attached assets comprise balances maintained with the Bank of Singapore in the names of Karan Chanana, Amira Foods Pte. Ltd. and Anannya Pte. Ltd.
