Bengaluru, Nov. 2 -- Alleging a political conspiracy behind the investigation into Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) recruitment irregularities, Karnataka Home Minister Priyank Kharge on Monday claimed that a union Minister was lobbying the Narendra Modi government to deploy the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and Income Tax Department against him and his Cabinet colleagues.
In a sharp attack, Kharge alleged that the KPSC investigation was being used as a political cover to target Congress leaders and force those accused in the recruitment irregularities case to implicate them falsely.
