Bhubaneswar, Feb. 16 -- The East Coast Railway (ECoR) is all set to make Holi travel smoother and more comfortable for passengers by operating 23 special trains between February 28 and March 30.
These services aim to manage the surge in passenger traffic during the Holi and Dol Yatra festivals and improve connectivity between key destinations across India.
ECoR officials noted that the festive season sees a significant increase in travel as people journey to be with family and friends.
To accommodate this, the railway has planned special services connecting Bhubaneswar, Visakhapatnam, and Sambalpur with major cities including Yesvantpur, SMVB Bengaluru, Tirupati, Charlapalli, Shalimar, Dhanbad, and Erode.
