ECoR to regulate several trains for infrastructure upgradation at Puri Station

Bhubaneswar, March 16 -- East Coast Railway (ECoR)has issued a revised regulation plan for train services in connection with the ongoing infrastructure upgradation works at Puri railway station under Khurda Road Division.

The upgradation work includes construction of ballastless track in the station yard and development of Platforms No. 7 & 8, aimed at improving passenger amenities, operational efficiency and handling capacity at the important pilgrimage station.

Earlier, some trains were planned to be short-terminated or short-originated at Sakhigopal station.
