Bhubaneswar, Nov. 10 -- As part of its preparedness initiatives, the Khurda Road Division of East Coast Railway (ECoR) has planned a full-scale Disaster Management Mock Exercise to be conducted in the near future.
The objective of the mock drill is to test coordination among multiple rescue and response agencies, evaluate the performance of disaster management equipment and communication systems, and train staff for quick, efficient, and coordinated action during real-life emergencies.
A Disaster Preparedness Meeting was held on Monday to review readiness levels and coordination mechanisms among various agencies responsible for handling railway-related emergencies and natural disasters.
