ECoR extends special train services, adds AC coaches to New Delhi Rajdhani trains to ease festive rush

Bhubaneswar, Nov. 3 -- In a major relief to passengers travelling during the festive season, the East Coast Railway (ECoR) has extended special train services between Sambalpur and Santragachi and announced additional AC Three-Tier coaches in four Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Rajdhani Express services to accommodate the growing passenger rush.

The move aims to ensure smoother travel, provide additional berths and ease congestion during the peak festive travel period.

According to ECoR, the Sambalpur-Santragachi Special trains will operate for two additional trips in each direction.

The extended schedule is as follows:Train No. 08303: Sambalpur-Santragachi Special will run every Wednesday from November 4 to November 18, 2026.
