Kolkata, May 1 -- Repolls will be held in 15 polling stations of West Bengal's Diamond Harbour and Magrahat West assembly constituencies on May 2, the Election Commission of India (ECI) announced on Friday.

The ECI issued the directive to the state's Chief Electoral Officer, Manoj Agarwal, after reviewing reports submitted by returning officers and election observers from the two constituencies. in South 24 Parganas district.

Both constituencies went to the hustings on April 29 in phase two of the state Assembly polls.

The Commission declared as "void" the voting in 11 polling stations of Magrahat West and four in Diamond Harbour constiteuncy respectively and said repolling would take place on Saturday from 7 am to 6 pm.
