Panchkula, July 3 -- The Election Commission of India (ECI) has appointed additional Assistant Electoral Registration Officers (AEROs) for five Assembly constituencies in Faridabad district to strengthen the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR)-2026 of electoral rolls in Haryana.
In a notification issued on July 2, the Commission amended its earlier notifications of March 4, 2024, and June 16, 2026, under Section 13C of the Representation of the People Act, 1950, to designate Zonal Taxation Officers of the Municipal Corporation Faridabad as AEROs for the 86-NIT Faridabad, 87-Badkhal, 88-Ballabgarh, 89-Faridabad and 90-Tigaon Assembly constituencies.
