Kolkata, April 13 -- : A team led by senior Dy Election Commissioner Gyanesh Bharati arrived in West Bengal on Monday for a three-day visit to review election preparedness, law and order, and administrative coordination ahead of the upcoming polls.
Bharati landed at Andal airport in Paschim Bardhaman around 12:30 pm and proceeded by road to Birbhum, where he is scheduled to hold a meeting at the District Magistrate's office.
Accompanied by two officials, he is also expected to conduct a virtual meeting with officials from West Bardhaman, East Bardhaman, Hooghly, North 24 Parganas and Kolkata to assess ground-level arrangements.
