Kolkata, Feb. 25 -- Responding to a request from Nabanna, the Election Commission has postponed the scheduled visit of its representative team to West Bengal.
As per the earlier plan, a delegation of around eight officials, including a Deputy Election Commissioner of the Election Commission of India, was slated to arrive in the state on March 1 and hold meetings with district election officers and superintendents of police on March 1 and 2.
However, the Commission informed on Wednesday that the meetings have been deferred and that fresh dates would be announced later.
