Imphal, April 5 -- Christians across Manipur joined the rest of the world in celebrating Easter on Sunday, marking the resurrection of Jesus Christ with prayers, church services, and community gatherings.

Churches in the state witnessed large congregations from early morning, with special services, hymns, and sermons emphasizing peace, forgiveness, and renewal.

The festive spirit was evident as families gathered, exchanged greetings, and participated in traditional feasts following the solemn observances of Good Friday.
