In Bagalkot, the Congress has surged ahead by 5,116 votes after the second round of counting, securing 10,996 votes against the BJP's 5,980. The margin has given the party a decisive early edge as the third round of counting is underway, with officials closely tracking whether the lead will sustain across subsequent rounds.
