New Delhi, June 28 -- Chief Minister Rekha Gupta today said that the Delhi Government's e-Office system will complete one year on July 1, and over the past year, a visible transformation has taken place in the administrative functioning.
Earlier, most official work was carried out through paper files, but presently, file movement, correspondence and approvals are handled online, which has accelerated file disposal, improved transparency and accountability in government functioning, and helped ensure the timely delivery of public services.
According to CM, e-Office has made it easier to identify which official is handling a particular file and what action has been taken on it.
