Thiruvananthapuram, April 10 -- Congress Working Committee member Ramesh Chennithala today alleged that the decision to shut down government e-Office servers for five days under the pretext of maintenance, at a time when a change of government is imminent, is a deliberate attempt to bury corruption-related files.

Describing the move as "highly suspicious", he said there is no urgent necessity for such maintenance at present and that the process could instead be carried out after the new government assumes office.
