Patna, March 2 -- Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary on Monday handed over documents of one acre of land to Kanak Kumari, the wife of late Subedar Santosh Kumar.

Choudhary said here that Subedar Santosh Kumar made the supreme sacrifice while defending the motherland. He stated that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government bows to the sacrifices of martyrs and stands firmly with their families. Fulfilling the dreams of those who laid down their lives is the true tribute to their bravery, he added.

Paying tribute to the late jawan, Choudhary said that the land handed over to Santosh Kumar's family is located in Mauza Manjhiyawan under Paraiya circle in Gaya district.
