New Delhi, May 1 -- The Annual General Body Meeting (AGBM) of the Durand Football Tournament Society was conducted in the national capital recently.
The meeting was presided over by the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Anil Chauhan, who also serves as the President of the Society.
In a statement issued here on Friday, the Army spokesperson stated that the AGBM deliberated on key organizational, administrative, and operational aspects concerning the forthcoming 135th edition of the Durand Cup, one of Asia's oldest and most prestigious football tournaments.
Members reviewed the conduct of previous editions and discussed measures to further enhance the scale, competitiveness, and outreach of the tournament.
