Bhadradri Kothagudem, July 6 -- Telangana Director General of Police C V Anand on Monday said effective control of drug trafficking and ganja smuggling in Bhadradri Kothagudem and Khammam districts would be crucial to strengthening anti-narcotics enforcement across the state, asserting that drug traffickers would be treated as "more dangerous than extremists and terrorists."Chairing the District Crime Review Meeting at the Bhadradri Kothagudem District Police Office, the DGP directed police officers to intensify action against ganja cultivation, transportation and illegal trade, noting that the district's borders with Andhra Pradesh and Chhattisgarh make it a key transit point for narcotics.
