Aizawl, July 21 -- Illicit drugs have become significantly scarcer and more expensive in Mizoram following the launch of Operation Jericho, even as authorities warn of a worrying risein cannabis and cough syrup abuse, the State Core Committee on Fight Against Drugs was informed on Tuesday.
The committee, chaired by Chief Minister Lalduhoma, reviewed the state's anti-drug campaign ata meeting attended by Home Minister K Sapdanga, Excise & Narcotics Minister Lalnghinglova Hmar, senior officials and representatives of the Central Young Mizo Association (CYMA).
