Zurich (Switzerland), April 29 -- FIFA has confirmed that the official draws for the next editions of the FIFA U-17 World Cup and the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup will be held atthe FIFA headquarters here on May 21.
The news follows the success of the maiden annual edition of the FIFA U-17 World Cup, hostedin Qatar last year.
The tournament - the 20th instalment overall and the first to feature 48 teams - showcased the game's brightest young talents, culminating in Portugal lifting the trophy after an outstanding campaign. It marked a significant step forward in increasing global youth development opportunities, with the competition set to return at the end of this year for its second edition inthis format.
