New Delhi, Aug. 25 -- Former India head coach Rahul Dravid believes India have some catching up to do in their bid to qualify for the ICC World Test Championship final, although he feels their encouraging start in Sri Lanka gives them a good platform.
India are currently fifth in the WTC 2025-27 points table and face a demanding schedule in the remainder of the cycle. After their ongoing Sri Lanka series, they will travel to New Zealand for two Tests in October before hosting Australia for a five-Test Border-Gavaskar Trophy from January 2027. India will also play five ODIs and five T20Is against New Zealand.
