Nahan, April 11 -- Himachal Pradesh BJP President Dr. Rajiv Bindal expressed his displeasure over the state government's decision to close Shaheed Kulwinder Singh High School, Girinagar, saying it was an injustice to the students studying there and termed it an anti-people decision.

"We urge the Governor to order the state government not to close the school," he said last evening after meeting with students and parents in the premises of Shaheed Kulwinder Singh High School, Girinagar. Residents urged Dr. Bindal to save the school at all costs and ensure that it should not be closed.

He stated that this school, which had a student population of 58, had been in operation for the past 50 years but has been locked by the Congress government. ...
