Hyderabad, Sept. 15 -- Dr Reddy's Laboratories on Tuesday announced the launch of NIVORZ (nivolumab biosimilar) in India, marking the company's entry into biosimilar immuno-oncology in the country.
NIVORZ is a biosimilar to Opdivo (nivolumab) and has been developed and manufactured at Dr Reddy's biologics facility in Bachupally, Hyderabad, the Pharma giant said in a release here.
The launch strengthens the company's oncology portfolio and expands its presence in the immuno-oncology segment.
The Indian immuno-oncology market was estimated at around Rs 3,900 crore in 2025 and is predominantly driven by checkpoint inhibitors such as nivolumab, pembrolizumab and toripalimab, according to the company.
